"I wanted to be Head Girl becuase I've wanted to help people and be the voice for the shy children. In the role we lead assemblys of Fridays and do many other jobs for Mrs Mason. We help Mrs Mason lead SLT meetings. I love being Head Girl because i get to help all ofthe children in Bidbury and get to introduce new things like positive post- its."

"I have wanted to be Head boy since it was introduced last year. I wanted to be Head Boy because i wanted to improve the school and make learning even more fun for everyone. While I have been headboy, I have attended SLT meetings and helped introduce multiple new things like positive post-its. My favourite things about being Head boy is doing SLT meetings and assemblys."

What do they have to say?.....

"There were only two steps to potentially becoming Head Girl. Firstly, everybody applying had to write an application letter to Mrs Mason and Mr Mahmud. We had all summer to do this so there wasn't a rush to give it in. Secondly, we went through an interview stage. We were asked simple questions like 'Why we want this job?' and challenging questions like 'what would you do to change the school?'. At the end, it was all worth it as even those who didn't get the job still work very closely alongside the Headteacher. Now, as the Head Girl, I work all around the school, showing visitors around and trying to improve anything that could be better. I've taken my role very seriously and I enjoy it very much."

"I am very proud to have been nominated as Head Boy. I have key responsibilities around the school which include, making improvements to the school, welcoming visitors but my main duty as Head Boy is to help the children of the school and listen to any ideas that they may have. I enjoy my role, as in meetings we get to discuss ideas for the school to make it better."
