Summer Reading Challenge 2021

This year's theme for the Summer Reading Challenge 2021 is: Wild World Heroes.  It's all about celebrating reading, helping nature thrive and protecting our wildlife.

The challenge begins on 3rd July and runs until 18th September.  As usual children have to read 6 books - this doesn't just cover books they read themselves but includes books they listen to (either read at bedtime or listening to an audio book).  Children will get a collector's folder when they sign up so they can collect stickers and keep a record of the books they have read.

It's free to take part, you just need to sign up at your local library or online at www.hants.gov.uk/librariesandarchives/kids-zone - you will need a library card but don't worry if you don't have one or have lost yours, you will get one when you sign up.  You can also visit wildworldheroes.org.uk for more fun and games!
